While deep drop fishing off Costa Rica I used some small white lights to attract the fish. I attached them to the swivels above the baits and the results were so that while first I was laughed at, towards the end of the first day everybody wanted to use one. Did anybody ever try these little lamps fishing for lakers 140 feet down?

At a meeting last night, during a question and answer session, those in attendance became aware that the NY DEC, per Kathy Hochul, is not being allowed to interact in any way with federal agencies including the USGS. Anyone have a recommendation or know of a place I can take a rod to have the end guide replaced? Little more intricate than I trust myself to do. A point in the right direction helps.
