Manford Lowell House, age 84, of rural Harmony, Minn., died on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at his home.

A prayer service will be at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Preston, Minn., with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the start of the service.  Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston.

Janis (Larson) Speer of Rochester, Minn., passed away May 5, 2026, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. 

Janis grew up in the Spring Valley area and attended LeRoy Public School, graduating with the Class of 1959. 

A graveside service was held May 7 at the LeRoy Cemetery.
