The girls come up with a new "game." Of course, things are all fun and games until somecat crosses the line ... though we're not sure who that was in this conversation. Things quickly get out of paw (as they so often do).

EM: Ellie Mae Kat [black, gorgeously floofy lady cat]

L: Latte [tortie/tabby lady cat aka "Kitten"]

MK: Momma Kat [Latte and Ellie's human Momma, named Kat]

The Boy: Momma's fiance, Daddy to Latte and Ellie

EM: We finished our pearls!

{Latte whispers in Ellie's ear}

EM: Erm ... our super olives!

L: Superlatives!

MK: Ummm ... what?!? Is this what you two were whispering furiously about?

EM: Latte thought it would be fun to come up with ... with ... super ...

L: Superlatives!

EM: ... for each member of our house.

MK: Do I get a vote?

EM: Erm ...

L: No.

MK: Figures.

EM: We did some for each other and then agreed on ones for you and The Boy, formerly known as the Treat Man, formerly known as Daddy, formerly known as Not-the-Momma, formerly known as The Boy.

MK: That's a lot of formerlys. Did he win "Most likely to have a 'formerly' in his name?" Hahaha.

{The cats stare at Kat blankly}

L: Guess who won "Most likely to eat 12 doughnuts in 24 hours?"

EM: I thought it was "Most likely to eat 24 doughnuts in 12 hours?!"

L: SHHH! It WAS! But then I worried Mom would get mad ... and she feeds us ...

MK: I've never eaten 24 doughnuts in 12 hours!

L: SEE?!?!

MK: At least someone realizes ...

L: I TOLD YOU she would be mad!

MK: {screeching} WHAT?!?!?

EM: It's MOST LIKELY TO ... not DOES.

L: Yeah. Like I voted Ellie is the "Most likely to kill cancer with her howl."

EM: And I voted Latte as the "Most likely to require the cattle scale at the doctor."

MK: Why does this sound like an excuse to insult each other?

EM: No. I think we can all agree that Latte wins "Most likely to share DNA with hippos."

L: Only if you win "Most likely to act like you're being murdered to get someone in trouble!"

EM: Then YOU win "Most likely to be in trouble!"

MK: Did you come up for some for Daddy?

L: "Most likely to ask where something is when they are looking at it."

MK: Hahahaha. That's so true!

The Boy: What?! What's true?

EM: Nothing!

The Boy: What are you talking about?

EM: Super olives!

L: Superlatives.

EM: Guess who won "Most likely to get pulled over for speeding?"

L: We know that's not Daddy! Hahaha.

The Boy: Wait! Why?

L: Mom says you drive like her Grandma.

The Boy: That's rude!

L: I think she meant before her Grandma died. Or maybe even after. I'm not sure.

{Kat laughs out loud}

MK: My Mom taught me that on the road, you drive. If you want to park, that's what parking lots are for!

EM: I know, right?!? Like why does HippopotaLottaLatte plop in the middle of the floor?!? There's moving traffic!

MK: Daddy was pretty great for making up that nickname for her!

EM: The Boy wins "Most likely to come up with clever names for the cats." Shi++en was inspired when Latte was a kitten! She was a $#!+ and a kitten.

L: Then Mom wins for "Most likely to come up with stupid names for the cats."

EM: Yeah! Where did Ellie Mae Potato come from?

L: I have no idea! At least you're not Latte B'sketti Bonks.

EM: But she calls me Ellie Penelope!

L: No. But she calls me Latte Biscotti!

EM: Ellie Fish!

L: Watte!

EM: Hey! Stop making fun of my speech impediment! It's not my fault that I can't pronounce "L!"

L: I wasn't making fun of you! Mom calls me Watte! MOM is making fun of your speech impediment!

EM: No. Mom edits it out of our blog!

L: Ewwie wins "Most wikewy to wick woudwy!"

EM: Now you ARE making fun of my speech impediment! That makes you "Most likely to be a jerk!"

L: Ellie wins "Most likely to have a boyfriend but has no idea what having a boyfriend means!"

EM: He's a boy. He's my friend. We like each other, we have nicknames for each other, and we have a lot in common.

L: "Most likely to be dumb."

EM: My boyfriend is not dumb!

{Pause as the wheels turn}

EM: And neither am I!

{Latte snickers}

EM: Latte also wins "Most likely to get in the way."

MK: I keep telling her the places she lays aren't parking zones!

EM: Well, to be honest, it's not her fault.

L: THANK YOU!

EM: I mean, if I were three times my size, I'd probably get in the way of everyone, too! WIDE LOAD!

L: HEY!

EM: OH! And Latte wins "Most likely to call a timeout to clean her foot!"

MK: That's true. She does it all the time when we're playing! And cuddling ... and making the bed ...

L: You expect me to play, cuddle, or HELP YOU with a dirty foot?! That's so ... uncivilized!

EM: Haha! Latte also wins "Most likely to 'help!'" With quotations around help!

L: I help! If I left, you would see how much help I provide!

MK: You can't help when you stop every 30 seconds to clean your foot! Your foot cannot get dirty every 30 seconds!

EM: Have you noticed how long it takes her to clean herself?

L: I'm very particular!

EM: And you have A LOT of surface area to cover!

L: Can you think of a joke that's not about my weight?

EM: Who is the most likely to make up a stupid game?

L: Oh, yeah? Who is the most likely to follow along like a sheep?

EM: Because who is "most likely to be bossy?!"

L: REALLY?!?

{Silence}

EM: Yeah. That's me.

L: Her Royal Princess Pantherness was actually a really accurate - and non-stupid - nickname Mom made up for you.

EM: It's true. I'm opinionated. And ferocious.

L: Ugh. Hunting your catnip banana is not ferocious.

EM: What about the hunting I do for Momma? Someone has to hunt for her! It's not like she can do it herself. Momma said I'm the bestest girl ever, and she's proud of me!

L: Mom said I was the bestest girl when I snuggled her!

EM: She DID NOT. First, she would never snuggle you when she has me! Second, I am the best snuggler! You win the "Most likely to lie!"

L: No! You do!

EM: FINE! Let's ask Momma who the bestest girl is!

L: Where did she go?

EM: All your arguing with me made her leave!

L: You were arguing with me!

EM: You started it with this stupid game!

L: It wasn't stupid!

EM: Most likely to be stupid!

L: {putting a paw on Ellie}

EM: AHHHH! She's killing me! She's killing me!

MK: {running into the room} LATTE!

L: SEE?!?!?!?! "Most likely to act like you're being murdered to get someone in trouble!"

EM: "Most likely to be in trouble!"

MK: THAT'S IT! The next cat to say "Most likely" WILL BE grounded. Not "Most likely" to be grounded! GROUNDED!

EM: Erm ... no thanks.

L: It's an empty threat! Grounding doesn't mean anything! What can she do? Take away our toys?!?

EM: {GASP} She WOULD NOT take away my catnip banana!

L: {sigh} Ugh.
