Well done to Ennis IM Oleg Gubanov on winning the Over1900 section of the Ennis congress outright on 4.5 points. Oleg finished a half point ahead of FM Shane Melaugh of Elm Mount, Malahide CM Jacob Flynn and English IM Chris Baker who were tied in 2nd to 4th place.
Mihovil Niko Cogelja won the 1700-1900 section also on 4.5 points, a half point ahead of Emil Abiltaro...

The Ennis Congress is taking place next weekend, the entry list is filling fast but there are still some places available and if wanting to participate you can enter via the Irish Chess Union website.
