By applying friendly pressure, you mean communicating your findings directly with Roland, correct? I’m familiar with Innerclock and your measurements are compelling so I assume so. In any case, I get the sense (maybe mistakenly) that some folks feel that venting here and on other forums about the TR-1000 is moving the needle somehow with Roland. That seems very unlikely.
Firstly I’m not sure if there is some kind of power safety system built in. If I power it off and back on (say after 5 seconds) it does not power on

I just received my beautiful new Perkons-I’ve been spending hours with it. I have been having some trouble w the ratcheting protocol : sometimes it works perfectly but sometimes instead of ratcheting, the whole set-patch gets cleared…. Probably on me no doubt- but thought I’d run it by you good folks. Any trouble with this?

If the sequencing (m8) and sound design (Essence) could be separate acts, then maybe. But, if the workflow involved continuous swapping of the two devices, then that’d be a drag.
