I recently got the HOVERAir AQUA to capture tracking footage of my sailboat. I would love to use the Bird's Eye mode for a top-down tracking shot while under sail, ideally at an altitude of about 60 meters (approx. 200 feet) above the water to get a wide cinematic view.

However, I noticed that the app strictly caps the custom altitude...

So late last week I bought a mini drone to get reacquainted with flying and remote control. Not much to worry about with airspace restrictions, I’m fortunate to live rural. And just bought an SD card for photos and video. Ready to go!

I was flying around canyons, cliffs and plateaus around MOAB recently, and wanted to fly up above several masa’s that are more than 400 FT. Of course, my flight altitued was restricted to 400 ft. . But If I climb up to the top of the 1000 FT masa I can launch and climb to 400 ft above that new higher launch level. Is there a way I can fly to the restricted altitude above the hig...
