The next day, Shin Soon-Rok got a call from Yumi’s hoobae who clarified with him that she has gotten back with her ex-boyfriend. This made Shin so elated because the blind date situation has resolved itself.

And then no matter how Shin Soon-Rok thought about it, he cannot get past himself thinking that what if Yumi were to marry someone else other than him, therefore he broke his princple and ran to Yumi a second time, confessing yet again in order not to have any regrets.

Shin: You are right. It’s me who is not sensible and too brash. I admit this is not right, so sudden and ridiculous. But… even so… no matter how I feel, I like you. Even though I’ve only sadly just realised it but I think I might have liked you right from the beginning.

Yumi: Yesterday… didn’t I already told you? That I’ve rejected you.

Shin: Yes. *looking dejected*

And then Yumi asked Shin if he has had lunch. When he said no, Yumi invited him to have lunch together.

Shin is confused by the situation after he’s agreed to have lunch.

Yumi: It does feel like having the noodles is not enough, right? If we could have skewered meat to go with it, it would be great. But there is none of that here. Should we go out and eat?

Shin: That’s not what I meant. It’s because I have not gotten your reply. You have not replied my question.

Yumi: Didn’t I invite you to have lunch together? That’s why I’m boiling water right now.

Shin: Does this count as an answer? *looking dejected again*

And then Shin’s love cell managed to find Yumi’s love cell finally! Yumi’s love cell has been waiting for Shin’s love cell. She thanked him for coming to look for her again. And she actually thought that there would be no possibility of them. She hugged him and then said welcome, happy to meet you. (Awww… the love cells are so cute.)

Yumi: I… also like you, Shin PD. Let’s get to know each other well from now on. Will this do?

Shin: Yes, will do. *finally breaking a smile*

Thereafter, while prepping for the lunch, Shin Soon-Rok began asking Yumi a series of questions about her past dating life – whether she’s dated a younger guy, whether she’s dated someone in the same office. He’s also started calling Yumi “noona”, making Yumi’s heart beat a little faster than usual. Lol!

And then he also shared that he’s being watched by the chief editor right now so both of them needs to be careful not to be caught dating. He went as far as describing how they cannot hold hands or have skinship within a certain radius of the studio lest they are seen. Lol!

Shin: It’s the weekend today.
