We got some good kettlebell work in in today’s workout.
Workout (for Sunday 1/18):
GRUNT!
Not done properly the deadlift can definitely irritate the back. But done correctly, it is one of the best back strengthening exercises there is! Deadlifting was often uncomfortable on Ben’s back. But we made a few adjustments today and Ben said they finally felt their back working in all the RIGHT ways!
...It’s not always easy (or even possible) to get the coveted “RX” next to your workout score. Nor does it necessarily say anything about your effort. But it can be nice when you do get to claim it. And impressively, Steph got to claim it on the second part of today’s higher skill gymnastics workout.
...If the sandbag carry was the hardest thing in the workout today, you need a little more Sunday Grunt class in your life! Here’s Brian carrying a bag the size of himself.
