This was from a challenge on another site.

Inktense applied with brush in Bee WC Journal, 5"x7".

When I finished the rose, it didn't stand out very much. Adding the suggestion of a background, especially in the tight spaces around the rose helped to bring the rose out.

This is a quick, approximately 9 cms x 11 cms fude nib pen sketch in my Tara Notes Flukebook. Some of you may recognise this person as the one who sent shock waves through the entrenched political parties in India, in mid-May this year.

11 x 14 inches .. acrylic on paper .. alla prima .. painted June/26 .. this one made it to the frame and my living room wall.
