Max McNown and Carly Pearce have released "Not Falling Out," a duet about a couple choosing to keep growing together through the highs and lows. The single and its official music video arrived October 23, giving fans a new collaboration to add to their weekend discoveries.

The premise is straightforward and relatable: staying in love takes intention. According to the release announcement supplied to CountryMusicNewsBlog.com, the song follows two people determined to fall deeper in love rather than drift apart. The accompanying video brings the collaboration into the studio.

A new pairing for both artists

The release follows McNown's third studio album, Leave On A Light, and his collaboration with Kygo, "Take Me Back." Pearce, meanwhile, released her fifth studio album, Honest Woman, this summer.

Pearce also wrapped her Honest Woman: Up Close run at New York City's Gramercy Theatre on October 22. Her team's recap of that show points to "Not Falling Out" as the next release in a busy stretch that has included new music and intimate performances.

The song is available now for listeners to make their own connection. If you have been following either artist, the duet offers a shared starting point: two singers telling one relationship's story.
