I have had a written down on a scrap piece of paper for over a month now on making a Dutch Baby. Today was the day it finally happened, and it was worth the wait. My husband asked for something completely different, but I had waited long enough, fairly certain if I didn’t make it I would have probably lost the scrap piece of paper; it happens.

I was going to make split pea soup with the ham bone from Easter. The only obstacle with this is only 3 of the 7 people that I would serve it to actually like it. Some of us would eat it but it’s not our first or even second choice. I would have had to pick up the split peas and I have tried to pick up a bag after Easter and the store didn’t have any, so there is that too.

I either never heard or of or maybe I had and I had forgotten this but I came across a reel where she was making a quiche and I don’t usually make quiche because I don’t want to make a crust. Yes I know you can make a crustless quiche but I tend to make a frittata and call it a day!
