Cooking at Clark Towers

We are in a little bit of a cold and rainy spell at the moment. I opened my blog and was wondering what I was going to make with/for you today. Because of it being so cold I wanted to make and eat some warm comforting soup; so I made some.

I used to have the best whoopie pie recipe over 30 years ago. I hunted for years trying to find it again. I got it from a co-worker in the mid 90’s and made them several times until I lost the recipe and never tried making them again, until last week.

What a busy weekend around here this weekend. Yesterday was spent in town with my family at the Children and the Arts day. Firstly Happy Mother’s Day! I just got back from watching my Granddaughter run in her first Healthy Kids Running race. OK how stinking cute so many littles running to get to the finish line. She came in fourth, not sure how many 3 year olds there were but it was more than I could have handled. Looking forward to next week.
