As a younger Alan, I could never forecast a future where I might be writing about enjoying cooking. That’s for other people! While I always haved loved food and eating it, strangely I am now at a point where the process, especially the inventiveness of it, is rather exciting. I mean to go from a collection of various ingredients to a meal one can share is enjoyable.
