The Especial d’Orsay is Quai d’Orsay’s 50th anniversary cigar, with the vitola de galera known as Sobresalientes, a size shared by previous limited editions from Romeo y Julieta and Por Larrañaga.

The cigar comes in two packaging options: a five-count box and a twenty-count box. Global distribution is planned, though production remains limited.

The wrapper presents a clean Colorado hue with only a few small veins visible. Construction is uniform throughout, with a generous filling.

Hazelnut, honey, and wood quickly establish themselves as the core of the profile, with white pepper lingering pleasantly in the background. Strength settles at a solid medium level (3/5).

The wood note evolves and becomes more refined, while a sour cream nuance introduces a welcome new dimension to the profile. The white pepper gains in intensity, without overpowering the other flavors. Strength remains unchanged.
