Despite improvements in exhaustion and confidence in their calling, Protestant pastors continue to struggle with vocational satisfaction, personal well-being and supportive relationships, a new study finds. More than half of respondents, 52%, said they most needed help maintaining their physical and mental health. That figure increased to 62% among pastors age 45 and younger.

An Illinois man has been arrested after allegedly posting online threats targeting Willow Creek Community Church, a local high school and several individuals, according to law enforcement officials. The Vernon Hills Police Department announced Tuesday that 26-year-old Ryan Kang has been charged with two counts of falsely making a terrorist threat.

Generation Z adults are nearly evenly divided over whether Christians’ support for President Donald Trump discourages church attendance, with 48% saying it makes them less likely to attend and 52% disagreeing, according to a new study. The Billy Graham Center Research Institute surveyed 2,365 Americans ages 18 to 28 through NORC’s AmeriSpeak panel between Aug. 9 and Sept. 26, 2024.
