you are right, the patterns for the bottom hand are very much like on a Kaval, the top hand has very different patterns, and not in any way I have come across on another wind instrument. According to this post back in 2020, it appears that Olive Le Bas was attempting to keep the business going after David Le Bas died, but there doesn’t seem to be much available information as to what’s become of the Le Bas Company.
