Since it is Tanabata today (at least in some places), and since I don’t have this year’s Tanabata book project quite finished, here are my favourite projects from the previous eleven anniversaries of this blog.

I had plans for celebrating Tanabata and the twelfth anniversary of this blog on July 7th. I have been working on a book project for you to make, but I thought a dodecahedron with its twelve sides might make a good second project for the folders in the audience.

The big job in the studio this week was cutting paper for an upcoming workshop. Well, two workshops actually, which is why there are two sets of things in the picture.

I cut up maps and map books for cover parts, and two entire large sketchbooks for book pages. I even used the sketchbook covers to cut book covers and templates for folding. The offcuts from the ...
