I have been looking at buying a Dawn Redwood bonsai. The prices seem to be between £50-£80 for either a single tree or a Forrest.
However I’ve just had a look and you can get a Dawn Redwood sapling that is a lot larger for between £12-£30.

Bought from a local nursery more than 2 years ago, went back in ground, then Anderson flat, then into current pot.

I’ve lost the old pics, but it was a lollipop shrub that underwent drastic pruning and wiring unto its current state. Growth has slowed down since this Spring’s repot while ramification increases.
