I am working through a collection of my older paintings by changing them up and practicing new ideas. The re-works provide a safe space and also a “faster” space where I can complete a few edits and move forward much easier than I would if I was starting from scratch. Re-working older pieces also helps the age old dilemma that a lot of artists face, art storage.
