By chance I was out on my motorcycle on the 24th April in the evening when the vessel was leaving the River Tyne for Denmark. Danish owned, but flagged with Iberia Deadweight of 82,178 tonnes. A general cargo vessel but principally transporting coal.

Coming out of the Blea Moor Tunnel which sits at the top of a long hard climb from the Ribblehead Viaduct. The engine is working hard at this point and dragging its steam along with it as it makes its way through the tunnel. The engine is the Tornado.

Took this a couple of weeks ago on a nature reserve.
I just loved the surf being blown back by the strong wind,
The harsh sun and the holding of hands.
What more could I ask for.

I took this at the end of last year, been sitting on this for a while I guess.
Street photography, but I don't find it easy and the majority of my photographs are what I would call mundane.
This one I just cant stop thinking about for some reason.
I took one shot of these three women and sort of forgot about it as I moved on to other things.
