Bird Photographers Network - It Ain't Just Birds

Hi folks ... image captured in Greece at the Kerkini lake .
That afternoon was very dramatic in terms of weather and the light that came along with it ... image captured from slow moving boat .
I just loved the extreme lighting and amplified the scene in post by making dark things darker and bright things brighter , might be not everyones taste !!!
Was thinking ...

Hi folks ... another shot of this species , captured a few weeks ago on a nice morning .
Had to shoot this " back/side light " as the bird has chosen the bush and one is not allowed to leave the given footpath .
And the birds felt less threatened when keep staying on the path !!!

Again removed a distracting twig from a part of the bird .<...

Hi folks another first timer for me personally .
Not even seen many of them so far ... at closer range .
Same location as previous Stonechat posting .

Removed a twig from the bird .... wonder if anyone can spot the area ? AS meanwhile PS remove is unbelievable good !!!
Some might say remove more .... i.e. LHS twig , but then the image b...

I just can't resist taking a picture of wrens when they are singing, it was quite windy when I took this image and I cropped it to exclude some extraneous foliage. I wish I could have gotten a little closer but I felt had I done so I would have made it fly off.

This is a re-crop to 3:2, again the zoom was set to about 300mm (600mm Equiv FF), as I get more practice I will attempt to increase focal length, this will of course make it more difficult but will reduce cropping. I any event I think the quality isn't too bad (??)
