So when I accelerate hard I hit a neutral between 2nd and third and end up red lining the engine. It’s embarrassing to say the least. What’s causing this and Is there an adjustment for this or does require a tear down??

This is probably elementary but I recently adjusted my clutch. I did the following:
Torqued the clutch hub shoulder bolts to 30 in-lb​ Adjusted the adjustment screw till gently seated and backed it off 1/2 turn.​ Locked it down with the lock nut while holding the adjustment screw in place with an allen key.​ I did all this with the clutch lever slacked out. Now when I adjus...
