Great stuff–mixing Americana, more traditional(ish) country, and just plain ol’ good songwriting. A 2025 album I missed!
“Joy” is the perfect title for this album of danceable blue-eyed soul. Borrowing heavily from the sound and styles of classic soul bands of the ’60s and ’70s, MT Jones’ debut album delivers 11 perfect songs. I loved this album.
This album is extremely easy on the ears. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
