Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) reinforced its long-term commitment to the development of beach soccer in Africa by actively supporting the African Beach Soccer Union’s (ABSU) strategic vision at its 2026 Annual General Meeting.

The AGM brought together continental stakeholders, partners, and institutional representatives to outline a clear pathway for structured competitions, governance, and sustainable growth across African beach soccer. BSWW’s presence and engagement underlined its role as a key driver of global development for the sport, working alongside regional bodies to unlock new opportunities for players, clubs, and national associations.

Speaking at the event, Josep Ponset, Director of Events, Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), emphasised the importance of formalised competitions and long-term planning for the game.
