Hi im having trouble with my cider brew. after doing hydrometer check it tasted good but after bottling and then sitting for 3.5 weeks cracked 1 bottle open my wife has said it still has a beer taste. ive put 1x can of Black Rock Cider, 1kg of dextrose, 500g of Lactose and Saf Cider AS-2 Yeast is there any way in making sweeter

I'll start by stating that I have no issues doing these transfers but looking for an alternative option.
