Hi. I'm new to the forum, and I'm having some problems.

I have a 1040 STE which I was sure worked (it worked when I last used it, sometime last autumn), with the exception of the floppy drive. I have a SidecarTridge, so I don't use the floppy anyway, so that's no big deal, I have it unplugged.

Since everything worked but was stock inside, I went ahead and upgraded ...

I guess a few people have needed one of these

I need to change the NVRAM in a Falcon and need that very low profile socket

Does anyone know where you can get them?

I have tried ebay, RS, Farnell but no luck

If anyone has a spare one they can sell great, or please point me in the right direction to get some
