When attempting to boot Ubuntu 20.04 via PXE, I'm getting the error Unable to find a live file system on the network.
I use the NFS method:
menu label ^Install ubuntu kernel /images/ubuntu20-04/casper/vmlinuz append initrd=/images/ubuntu20-04/casper/initrd nfsroot=192.168.2.1:/nfs_share/ubuntu ro netboot=nfs boot=casper ip=dhcp ---How can I fix this?
it is my first post/ask here. I tried to search a lot as different approaches from everywhere but so far no luck :-( Here is my problem. I have a Mini PC called Beelink Mini S12 that I use as Media Server. I has Ubuntu Server 24.04.4 LTS with Kernel 6.17.0-14-generic on it. I did all setups like 6 months ago and after that never had to touch it again, it was 100% working well...
I have a problem with Ubuntu 14.04. Suddenly, my second monitor isn't detected on Ubuntu. It worked fine before. When i try using Windows 7, it is detected. I'm using HP Pavilion G4 1212tx AMD ATI Radeon.
Why isn't it detected? Is there a problem with my VGA card?
So i am currently dual booting Zorin OS on a HDD. Everything is Fine but i cannot get to install drivers. I have a Nvidia Quadro 600 Which is a legacy driver. I tried doing these things :
sudo apt update and sudo apt install nvidia-390 but when i try that it outputs this:
Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Do...I tried to follow the various instructions for installing libpng12.so which eventually led me to do the use the following command after downloading the deb file:
sudo gdebi libpng12-0_1.2.54-1ubuntu1.1_amd64.debBut, unfortunately, the installation of the deb leads to the errors below:
