Asian Mental Health Collective

AMHC is very excited to welcome our newest staff member, Leili Arai Tavallaei to the team. She joins our Programs team as our Program Coordinator. At AMHC she’ll be providing infrastructure and day-to-day operational support to many of our programs, including our Therapy Fund, Processing Spaces, Support Groups, and in-person events. We’re so happy to have her on board!

Fitting in is a performance. It’s reading the room before you walk in, adjusting your volume, your vocabulary, your affect. It’s knowing which parts of yourself are welcome and which ones you leave at the door. It works. It’s gotten a lot of us very far. But it comes at a cost, and that cost is cumulative.
