Two members of the Conway School Board stepped down Monday afternoon, a day before the board met for its monthly meeting.

WASHINGTON -- Members of a U.S. Senate committee on Tuesday emphasized the economic challenges facing farmers across the country as producers struggle to mitigate high input costs and the effects of the Iran war.

CONWAY -- An overflow crowd on Tuesday told Conway officials they're concerned about the secrecy around plans to build a $1 billion, 300,000-square-foot data center and a lack of response from the City Council.

Most state employees and retirees in state government's health insurance plans for public school and state employees would pay more for their coverage, with increases ranging from nearly 5% to nearly 10%, during calendar year 2027 under proposed contribution changes that cleared the state Board of Finance on Tuesday.

The state Board of Finance on Tuesday endorsed a proposed reduction in property insurance rates for the state's public schools and colleges and universities, and a proposed increase in property insurance rates for state agencies in the next fiscal year.
