I always love cat memes. Don't you wish you had some of those cats.

In 2016, NSW fenced 3 nature reserves to keep out foxes and cats. A number of native species had been gone for 100 years. 
Thirteen species have returned and are breeding again. This is part of a larger project to restore native species in spite of introduced predators.
More areas are fenced and the project is extended another ten years.

The  last of the Beluga Whales has been moved from the Marineland site. That is not the end of the story. Their health is not good and there have been deaths.

Five baby orangutans were found in Odisha, India. That is far from their native habitat. They were probably being smuggled.
They are now in the care of Nandankanan Zoo. They are doing okay, but their species are not. The numbers are declining. Habitat loss and climate change, along with poaching are really putting the species at risk.
