Out of curiosity a couple in Scotland followed a strange track  in the snow. It led to a hedgehog in trouble. Hedgehogs are not usually active when it is cold. This hedgehog had gone to a feeder because he was starving. He fell asleep and being found saved his life. He is now at the Highland Wildlife Rescue.

After the devastating wildfires of 2020 large areas of Kangaroo Island were  burnt. That made the surviving wildlife extremely vulnerable to feral cats. Right after the fire a cat proof fence was put up to protect wildlife and give them a chance to recover. There has been a 90% recovery of the wildlife species in the area.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park introduced 5 African Grey Parrots to the same enclosure. They got along, but the staff soon noticed they were working together to make fun of zoo visitors. The birds would swear at them and laugh at them. They got pretty bad and finally the birds had to be separated.
