Hi - Figure since my new bike sat for 10 years new tires are in order. '72 750. Avon Roadriders on now, Back 4.00-18, Front 90/90H19 (3.25 X 19?). Bike is currently not running but want to get ready.

At the risk of asking a "what's the best oil" question, what are good tire options? I won't be doing much freeway, mostly nice windy mountain roads. Pretty much late spring...

It's a good sign that my N15 keeps on keepin' on, with very little to tend to. One thing that irks me a little is that the rubber footie bits fall apart pretty fast. I gave up on footpeg rubber; the bike is fine without them as it was originally, and the folding pegs just aren't made for it. But the kickstart rubber is shot, and the shifter rubber is on its way toward disintegra...

Just about to do an oil change on my 961 CR.

First snag: Found that I can’t get an allen wrench up between the X-Pipe and the sump plug.
The SBN X-Pipe blocks the head of the plug from all angles.

Backup plan “B”:
Remove SBN silencers, and X-Pipe to access sump plug.

Next snag – I can’t get the X-Pipe free of the header pipes. Wiggle to the rig...

I acquired a 1971 Norton 750 a couple of months ago that hadn’t run since 2003. I got it running in a couple of days and it sounded pretty good on the lift. Since then I have been getting it road worthy. Rear brakes, chain, cleaned the oil tank and replaced all the oil lines. Then moved to replacing fork seals and checking front brake.
