Its Over...

 ITS OVER... two very busy weekends of my annual Open House are finished.Now what went up, must come down.  Sunday after the show we took apart the studio because Monday morning we have mats to cut for orders!

Its time...

Today (Thursday) the girls were cooking for 8 hours. Everything looks great.The sign is up on the front porch,  fresh pumpkins are out, but I cannot promise the squirrels will not feast on them.  Little arrows on the sidewalk pointing to the door.

Friday the doors open promptly at 2PM! Hope to see you this weekend.

Prep Day...

Today was "prep day".  Linda and two friends spent hours prepping food for tomorrows "cook day". Chopping, grating, cutting followed by more chopping, grating, cutting.  They also laid out which dishes, baskets and boards to use.   I am in charge of the phone and working on my next commission.

We are down to 2 days. These are cooking days. Today we went on a hunt for ornamental cabbage because our mums were finished. This required 2 farm garden stops and finally Esbenshade's Greenhouse.Linda got a haircut. 
We shopped at two stores for produce.
The housecleaner did a final clean.
Orders are coming in, keeping Linda busy.
