A Blog on Prayer

I have done nothing without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord. (from Ezekiel 14:23)

Pray, believing. “Lord, You are good, and what you do is good.” (Psalm 119:68)

God says, “I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart.” (Ezekiel 11:19)

So we pray, “Please, Lord, give us tender, responsive hearts. Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.”

God said, “They will recognize how hurt I am by their unfaithful hearts.” (Ezekiel 6:9)

Almighty God longs for relationship with you.

Talk to Him, with love.

Ezekiel described God as gleaming, glowing, and shining with splendor. But it’s what he did that vividly shows God’s glory.

He fell face down on the ground. (Ezekiel 1:27-28)

Remember that when you pray.

She sat with them, listening, laughing, loving, though they’re seldom together. I know she prays for them, and I could see and feel her care.

Don’t minimize the impact of your prayer, not only on God, but also on those you love. And on you.
