The video of this model’s response to a photographer who told her to lose weight had the entire internet cheering.

The clip of the model, who was told not to eat until the next photoshoot, went viral on Reddit and it’s 90 seconds well spent (you’ll have to wait a second or two before you can hear the audio properly, and apologies for the annoying TikTok voice at the start).

And here are just a few of the many comments it prompted.

According to reports, Boris Johnson will be throwing a dead cat bone to the anti-metric lobby, with a return to Britain’s former official system of weights and measures – imperial units.

Instead of the metric standard of weight currently in use, in which a thousand grams is a kilogram and a thousandth of a gram is a milligram, vendors will be allowed to use the pound, of which 14 is a stone and one sixteenth is an ounce – not to be mistaken for a fluid ounce, which is a twentieth of a pint.

When it comes to length, the metre which multiplies by a thousand to give kilometres and divides by 100 to give the centimetre, can be replaced by the foot, which multiples by three to give a yard, or by 5280 for a mile, and which divides by 12 make an inch.

The government is planning to introduce new rules to ensure that broadcasters create sufficient shows that showcase ‘Britishness’.

Media minister John Whittingdale said public service broadcasters like the BBC and ITV would be required to produce ‘distinctly British’ content although he admitted that the term ‘Britishness’ was a ‘difficult concept to measure’.

Shows that were included as examples included Only Fools and Horses, Fleabag, Downton Abbey, The Great British Bake Off, Blackadder, Doctor Who, Derry Girls and … the Carry On films.
