1000RR - The CBR1000RR Fireblade Forum

Looking to do this track day if anyone else is going, still weather watching at the moment as it keeps changing everyday, one minute shower and the next dry, fingers crossed for dry.

My 2004 needs a new stator, rectifier and a gasket.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to purchase said items.
Obviously cost is a consideration but having recently broken down due to these items falling, reliability is the major factor.

Just wondering what tyres people use for riding through winter on their cbr1000rrs. Im asking now as my s23s will need changing soon . I normally.run s23s through winter and also have run dunlop sportsmart 4s but thinking about using something like a sports touring tyre as they will be much better suited for the cold and wet days etc.

Thinking about getting on a Honda again after 8 years on a Suzuki. The nearest dealers are Miles Kingsports in Hull and Vertu Honda in Grantham. Distance and time wise they are basically the same.

Anyone had any recent dealings/experience with either of them?

I have a spare set of Brembo HPK full floating Supersport discs for a 2017-2019 CBR. Not SP2.
