Thanksgiving

Hi Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to share a bit of what’s been happening in our lives this Thanksgiving season. We’re back in California, surrounded by family, but not under the circumstances we initially hoped for. My dad recently underwent back surgery, which led to some unexpected and serious complications, including a massive blood clot in his lung.

It’s been a whirlwind of emotions, but I’m deeply grateful to share that things are looking better now. Through the uncertainty, I’ve been reminded of the sustaining grace of our God—His presence has been a constant source of strength and hope.

This Thanksgiving, my gratitude feels deeper than ever. I’m thankful for my dad’s recovery, for the love of family, and for each of you who take the time to read and engage with my blog. Your encouragement and support mean more to me than words can express.

Wishing you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving.

With gratitude,

Brooke

Dear Brooke, Thank God your dad is feeling better and that you are able to spend time with him and your family. God works in amazing ways. During our trip to Germany my mom passed into eternal life. Every one of my children, their significant others and grandchildren, (except 2) were able to go visit with my family. It was Gods timing that my mom passed away during our visit and that we were able to say goodbye. Although it was rather sudden and I’m still in shock that she is gone I’m so thankful that I was able to see her and talk to her and care for her. May God grand you many more happy and healthy years with your parents. Time goes bye so fast and one never knows when God calls us home. Wishing you all a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. God Bless, Diana Falls

Diana,

Thank you, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, but also so glad you and your family got to visit Germany together and be with her during her last days. God is so good and His timing is perfect. He shows us how much He cares in moments like these. Wishing you all the best, have fun in Florida for us, we will miss seeing you this year!
