Session #6: Reminder Preseason Exam Review

This week we will host our final preseason sessions to review the NCAA Preseason Exam. You will need to register for BOTH sessions separately as the Zoom links are different. These sessions WILL NOT be recorded, and each night we will begin promptly at 7pm EST. We highly encourage you to arrive on time so you can follow along. If you'd like to volunteer to cover a block of questions please send an email to [email protected].

To ensure we're all on the same page we will be working from the Study Group Master Questions which can be found on the Referee Huddle Google Drive or click here. PLEASE NOTE - the expectation is all participants have attempted to answer all 75 questions before you join these sessions. There is no expectation that you have each question correct, just that you've found rule references, case book AR's, mechanics manual citations or other resources to justify your answers. Also, it is imperative that you pay attention when submitting your exam, as our individual exam questions and answers may be arranged differently.

The goal of the preseason exam is to ensure that officials have met the rules knowledge standard to have the opportunity to officiate during the season. Additionally, the exam review sessions will provide participants a chance to review each question and engage in meaningful dialogue for a deeper understanding of the rule, case play or mechanic. We believe this is a great way to close out preseason preparation as well as protect the integrity of the exam process.
