Hello everyone!

I trust the off-season is treating you well. I am writing to you today to ask you to save the date. Many of you live in the Greensboro area or are within game driving distance, and I want to invite you to an amazing event. The Kay Yow Golf event is August 10th and 11th. This event is really a very enjoyable and valuable experience. On Sunday, the 10th, there is a welcome reception that is filled with fabulous food, drink, camaraderie (we had nearly 50 officials in attendance last year), golf simulators, and excellent speakers. Additionally, this year, our own Karen Preato is organizing the pickleball tournament from 11-2pm, prior to the reception, at another local country club. I know many of you play, and if you don't...there is no better time to learn. The only thing on the line is "official" bragging rights. On Monday, the golf tees off at 7am. The reception and golf is at Grandover CC, and the pickleball is at Sedgefield CC. Please know you can do all or just one of the activities. You don't have to play golf to come to the reception. (I still ascribe to the Mark Twain thought that it ruins a good walk.)

You don't have to go to the reception to play pickleball. I am including the link for registration. Please remember to check that you are an official.

Also, If you plan on attending the reception, please let me know your T-shirt size. I always like to dress us in obnoxiously loud colors to let everyone see our incredible turn-out. I really have been so proud to represent such an amazing group of empathetic people who show up! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
